Paul was quick to respond to my initial question by email so we took very little time to fix a date to do the job. Both Paul and James are very professional and did a great job fitting the 3 section timber ladders. It looks beautiful and a perfect fit to the new hatch. James gave me a demonstration on how to operate it before leaving. It looked easy and simple... However when I tried to do it myself (I'm about 5 foot 2, 158cm) it definitely wasn't easy and even felt vulnerable as I had to lift more than half the weight when folding up. Need to practice but I'm not getting taller or younger!

My wife has been saying for years we needed a loft ladder but I thought the roof-design would be a problem. Anyway we were recommended a four-part ladder that folded nicely within the loft hatch area so we were very pleased we could be accommodated and with the outcome.
