We couldn't be more impressed by Surrey Loft Installations. Paul is an absolute professional, arriving on time and giving excellent advice. We were very happy with the quote we were given, which we felt represented excellent value.Paul accommodated a tight turn around to clear our loft, before carpets were fitted; this is a very tiring and messy job at the best of times. He and his team competed the work on one of the hottest days of the year, but did so with efficiency and care. Alongside this, they widened our loft hatch, installed a new loft ladder, and made alterations to electrics.Paul communicates at every step, and responds swiftly. He understood our budgeting needs and agreed to split our work into two stages. We have been so impressed with "stage 1" and look forward to having our new insulation and boarding installed soon.Thank you!

Brilliant service. The guys put in an entirely new and massive loft hatch where previously there wasn’t one, to gain access to a second loft space that was otherwise only acceptable via a hole in the wall at the back of the original loft, when previous owners extended. Then boarded out that second loft space in the extension (see photos). They also ran lighting to this new space. Plus boarded the 60% of the original loft that was unused. In this one they had to cut around and board under pipes etc. plus for the original loft they also replaced the very very old and small hatch with a much larger one (same style as the one in the photos but slightly smaller, due to space constraints). All of this was done over 3 mornings, so fast and speedy. The guys were polite, considerate and ensured there wasn’t too much disruption. Brilliant. Can’t recommend enough.

I have just had my loft floor raised, further insulated and fully boarded by Paul, Darren and Mario from Surrey Loft Installations. They also did me a new loft hatch too. They were just a pick from a Google search. From the outset Paul was excellent, arrived when he said he would for the initial quote. Had the quote to us very quickly, and from then on arranged everything quickly. As a team they arrive prompt and early to start their day, they care about your property with lots of dust sheets to protect your carpets as best they can. All three were sociable and helpful at all times, with them accommodating last minute extras like a double socket that I hadn’t initially asked for. The standard of the work was excellent, I would highly recommend the company and we are very happy with the finished product. It’s amazing what more you can do with a fully boarded loft! Paul came to my home in Banstead to fit a new 3 section wooden ladder to replace my rather clunky old aluminium one.The new ladder required the hatch to be turned 90 degrees from it's original locationThe service provided was absolutely first class. Arrived on time as agreed, the job was completed within a few hours. No mess was left and the quality of the new ladder is exceptional.Although the new surround to the hatch requires painting, it looks like the hatch has been there for years with no damage to the ceiling or the surrounding (ornate) coving.Excellent value and fantastic local professional company.

We recently had 13 square metres of our loft boarded by the Surrey Loft Installations, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.From start to finish, their service was absolutely excellent. Everything was handled professionally, clearly explained, and carried out exactly as promised. The team arrived on time and got straight to work, which we really appreciated.Paul, who I was dealing with before the job was attentive and responded extremely quickly to any questions I had. Darren and Mario were fantastic on the install, incredibly respectful of our home. They carefully laid dust sheets throughout the work area and kept any mess to an absolute minimum. It was clear they take real pride not only in their craftsmanship but also in how they treat their customers’ homes.The work itself was completed very quickly, yet to a superb standard. The 13 square metres of boarding is perfect, solid, neatly finished, and exactly what we wanted. Loft insulation, boarding and electrical tidy-up.

Excellent service. Professional, punctual, tidy and trust-worthy. I would recommend Paul and Surrey Loft Installations to anyone.

Increase the size of existing hatch. Supply and fit wooden loft ladder and new hatch.

Great service, only rang them on the Friday and they visited and installed it by lunch time the next Tuesday. Really well made product, well installed and looks good. Really quick and tidy job, and good overall value for money. Very pleased and wish we had done it years ago.

Fitting a loft ladder

Paul arrived when he said that he would and quickly fitted the ladder. He tidied up afterwards - all in all very pleased with his work.

New loft access (hatch and ladder)

Paul came a couple of weeks earlier and advised on the work required and that they would have to order the hatch fittings as they did not have the right size in stock. Once the hatch arrived , I was contacted and we arranged the appointment for it to be fitted. Paul arrived promptly (in fact 15 minutes early at 0715!) The work was done as explained to me (Paul had warned me that the wood surround would be painted with undercoat so I would have a bit of decorating to do), and bill was exactly as per the estimate. Very satisfactory.

New loft hatch with ladders.

Paul came and helped confirm the best solution for a loft hatch. He did not rush our decision and was happy to wait to ensure we were happy with the proposals to meet a reasonably completed hatch installation. We are very happy with the end result and this is really down to Paul's expertise and guidance. A very good professional. There were absolutely no issues with the installation. I really would recommend Paul.

100sq M. Loft insulation 20sq M flooring and loft ladder and hatch system

A job I anticipated taking days completed in 6.5 hours.

Insulate loft, raise floor, install flooring and 2 new loft ladders

Insulated a large loft, raised the floor level and installed flooring. Moved the loft hatch and installed a new loft ladder. Also installed a new loft ladder and hatch in a second loft. Paul was very prompt to give as a quote then a firm date on acceptance. All carried out accordingly and completed in 2 days to a high standard by a very efficient and competent team. The final result looks really good, the ladders are very efficient, folding into the loft hatch, and easy and comfortable to use. Makes using the loft a now pleasurable experience.
