Paul came to my home in Banstead to fit a new 3 section wooden ladder to replace my rather clunky old aluminium one.The new ladder required the hatch to be turned 90 degrees from it's original locationThe service provided was absolutely first class. Arrived on time as agreed, the job was completed within a few hours. No mess was left and the quality of the new ladder is exceptional.Although the new surround to the hatch requires painting, it looks like the hatch has been there for years with no damage to the ceiling or the surrounding (ornate) coving.Excellent value and fantastic local professional company.

I have just had my loft floor raised, further insulated and fully boarded by Paul, Darren and Mario from Surrey Loft Installations. They also did me a new loft hatch too. They were just a pick from a Google search. From the outset Paul was excellent, arrived when he said he would for the initial quote. Had the quote to us very quickly, and from then on arranged everything quickly. As a team they arrive prompt and early to start their day, they care about your property with lots of dust sheets to protect your carpets as best they can. All three were sociable and helpful at all times, with them accommodating last minute extras like a double socket that I hadn’t initially asked for. The standard of the work was excellent, I would highly recommend the company and we are very happy with the finished product. It’s amazing what more you can do with a fully boarded loft! We recently had 13 square metres of our loft boarded by the Surrey Loft Installations, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.From start to finish, their service was absolutely excellent. Everything was handled professionally, clearly explained, and carried out exactly as promised. The team arrived on time and got straight to work, which we really appreciated.Paul, who I was dealing with before the job was attentive and responded extremely quickly to any questions I had. Darren and Mario were fantastic on the install, incredibly respectful of our home. They carefully laid dust sheets throughout the work area and kept any mess to an absolute minimum. It was clear they take real pride not only in their craftsmanship but also in how they treat their customers’ homes.The work itself was completed very quickly, yet to a superb standard. The 13 square metres of boarding is perfect, solid, neatly finished, and exactly what we wanted. Loft ladder supplied and fitted

Paul offered to bring a selection of loft ladders with him, he'd have a look at my loft hatch and the space available in the bedroom for a ladder. Paul arrived with a colleague promptly on the day arranged. I was undecided between 3 ladders, the 3 section alloy ladder, the telescopic ladder and the 3 section wooden ladder. Paul advised the alloy ladder (the cheapest) would be the most suitable for my loft and needs. I appreciated his honesty, he also ensured I was able to operate the ladder safely. Furthermore, he didn't have to modify the existing trap door which was a bonus.

Boarding Loft

Paul quoted for loft boarding and a new ladder to which we accepted based on the competitive price and positive reviews. He arrived on time and carried out the work in a timely and exceptional fashion.

Really good experience, much less messy than I had expected given an old loft floor had to be removed and the house was built in 1929. Paul was very clear on the work proposed. They did all the cutting outside in the driveway. The new loft hatch looks great and the ladder is much easier to use than the one it replaced. Quotation was reasonable for the amount of work involved and I'm very happy with the result. Highly recommend.
