Brilliant service. The guys put in an entirely new and massive loft hatch where previously there wasn’t one, to gain access to a second loft space that was otherwise only acceptable via a hole in the wall at the back of the original loft, when previous owners extended. Then boarded out that second loft space in the extension (see photos). They also ran lighting to this new space. Plus boarded the 60% of the original loft that was unused. In this one they had to cut around and board under pipes etc. plus for the original loft they also replaced the very very old and small hatch with a much larger one (same style as the one in the photos but slightly smaller, due to space constraints). All of this was done over 3 mornings, so fast and speedy. The guys were polite, considerate and ensured there wasn’t too much disruption. Brilliant. Can’t recommend enough.

We recently had 13 square metres of our loft boarded by the Surrey Loft Installations, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.From start to finish, their service was absolutely excellent. Everything was handled professionally, clearly explained, and carried out exactly as promised. The team arrived on time and got straight to work, which we really appreciated.Paul, who I was dealing with before the job was attentive and responded extremely quickly to any questions I had. Darren and Mario were fantastic on the install, incredibly respectful of our home. They carefully laid dust sheets throughout the work area and kept any mess to an absolute minimum. It was clear they take real pride not only in their craftsmanship but also in how they treat their customers’ homes.The work itself was completed very quickly, yet to a superb standard. The 13 square metres of boarding is perfect, solid, neatly finished, and exactly what we wanted. It has made such a difference to our storage space.We’re so happy with the result and would highly recommend the Surrey Loft Installations to anyone considering loft boarding. I have just had my loft floor raised, further insulated and fully boarded by Paul, Darren and Mario from Surrey Loft Installations. They also did me a new loft hatch too. They were just a pick from a Google search. From the outset Paul was excellent, arrived when he said he would for the initial quote. Had the quote to us very quickly, and from then on arranged everything quickly. As a team they arrive prompt and early to start their day, they care about your property with lots of dust sheets to protect your carpets as best they can. All three were sociable and helpful at all times, with them accommodating last minute extras like a double socket that I hadn’t initially asked for. The standard of the work was excellent, I would highly recommend the company and we are very happy with the finished product. It’s amazing what more you can do with a fully boarded loft! New loft ladder.

Superb work, fitted a fibre loft ladder, enlarged loft entrance. Absolutely fantastic job - very happy.

Fitted a new loft hatch and fitted floor boards inside the loft

We were very happy with the with Paul and his colleagues did. They fitted a loft hatch for a reasonable price, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. We later decided we wanted new floorboards fitted and Paul was able to arrange an appointment at short notice, with the work completed in less than half a day. They were friendly, informative and polite, they tidied up the room when they were finished and overall, we were really impressed.

Wooden loft ladder and hatch enlargement.

Paul and team did work for my mother's house. His communication throughout the process has been very high, answering a number of questions around options/installation process. Paul always responded quickly. On the day, Paul turned up early, carried out the final assessment and phoned me, advising me of precisely what work needed to be done and also notifying me of one or two legacy issues for me to take care of. On top of this, he was super courteous and left everything in tip-top condition. Highly recommended.

Loft hatch, ladder and boarding fitted to loft.

We employed Paul and his team to fit a new wider loft hatch, ladder, raise the joists and fit boarding in our new house. We were very pleased with the work and would recommend him to anyone.

Prompt on arrival. Considerate in terms of keeping the place tidy etc. Friendly and explained everything first. Job looks good.

Fitting a new 3Â parts ladders.

Paul was quick to respond to my initial question by email so we took very little time to fix a date to do the job. Both Paul and James are very professional and did a great job fitting the 3 section timber ladders. It looks beautiful and a perfect fit to the new hatch. James gave me a demonstration on how to operate it before leaving. It looked easy and simple... However when I tried to do it myself (I'm about 5 foot 2, 158cm) it definitely wasn't easy and even felt vulnerable as I had to lift more than half the weight when folding up. Need to practice but I'm not getting taller or younger!

Loft room.

Paul and James done a great job. Loft room, Fitted Velux roof window Insulated roof rafters and partition walls Plaster boarded rafters ,walls and brickwork. Plaster skim to plasterboard. Really nice friendly guys we would recommend to anyone.
