Our house is a 1911 house, the hatch was through a plasterboard-covered, lath and plaster ceiling and enlarging the space required moving joist noggins in a loft with the thick and uneven joists that houses of this period often have. I called them in as despite being a good DIYer I didn't fancy tackling this myself. They took it in their stride, worked within the original quote, and did a lovely job with no problems at all. I unhesitatingly recommend them.
